Melanoma
Dr Saks provides treatment for melanoma, a type of skin cancer that develops from melanocytes, which are the cells in the skin that produce pigment.

Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer
Dr Saks provides treatment for non-melanoma skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and other skin tumours.

Skin Cancer Surgery
Surgery is the most common treatment for skin cancers. Surgery for skin cancer includes skin biopsy/wide excision, sentinel node biopsy, and lymph node dissection.

Dr Saks treats a range of general surgical conditions, including lipomas, hernias and gallstones.
About Dr Dina Saks
Dr Dina Saks is a Surgical Oncologist and General Surgeon. Dr Saks completed her General Surgical training through St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney and John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons, being awarded her fellowship in 2020. Dr Saks then underwent further subspeciality training in melanoma, advanced skin cancer and soft tissue tumours. She is passionate about the management of patients with complex skin tumours and enjoys working together with her patients to achieve the best outcomes.
